The St. Jude School Liturgy Team Invites you to participate in
St. Jude Family Masses
Family Masses are a wonderful opportunity to include our youngest Church members in the celebration of Mass!
How can your child participate? There are many different “jobs” for children to choose from!
GREETERS: Greet people at the door as they enter the church. This is good for children who are not quite ready to read at Mass.
USHERS: Pass the collection baskets for the offertory collection and dismiss rows for Communion. The children are partnered with an adult to guide them. This is good for children who are not quite ready to read at Mass.
READERS: Children will get assigned to read the Mass Announcements, First Reading, Second Reading, or Mass Intentions. Children are given a practice copy a few days before Mass and can arrive early the day of the Mass to practice at the Ambo. A teacher will sit with the children during Mass to help them know when to read their part at the correct time.S:
