In 2008 M. Thomas and Beatrice L. Moore established an endowed scholarship fund through the Catholic Community Foundation to provide scholarships to students in financial need attending Catholic elementary schools in the Diocese of Cleveland. They award four annual $500 scholarships. Catholic elementary school students currently in grades 1 through 7 who will be entering grades 2 through 8 are eligible to apply.

The Bishops' Scholarship for Excellence is available to current 6th and 7th students. Sixteen $1.000 scholarships will be awarded annually. Applications must be returned to the principal by March 1, 2021. Please see the gudelines and applications:

The EdChoice Scholarship is available for students in grades K through 8 and live in the City of Lorain school district. There is a list of Lorain City schools who are on “academic emergency or academic watch”, and the EdChoice scholarship is available to those families who wish to seek a different alternative for their child’s education. Open enrollment for the EdChoice Scholarship is February 1st through April 30th.

The EdChoice Expansion Scholarship is an income-based scholarship for any student entering grades K through 5 who lives in Lorain County.
EdChoice Expansion families must meet the following income-based criteria. For new applications, families must meet the 200% Federal Poverty Guidelines. An Income Verification Form must be submitted with the application form. The Expansion Scholarship enrollment begins February 1st through April 30th. The following information is needed for the Expansion Scholarship:

The Autism Scholarship Program (ASP) gives the parents of children with autism who qualify for a scholarship the choice to send the child to a special education program other than the one operated by the school district of residence to receive their education and the services outlined in the child's individualized education program (IEP).
Any student who has been identified by their district as a child with autism and for whom the district has created an individualized education plan (IEP) qualifies for the Autism Scholarship program.
The student must have a current IEP from the district of residence that is finalized and all parties, including the parent, must be in agreement with the IEP.
A child is eligible to apply to participate in the program when the child turns three.

The Jon Peterson Special Needs (JPSN) Scholarship Program provides scholarships to students who are eligible to attend kindergarten through 12th grade and have an Individualized Education Program (IEP) from their district. The amount of each scholarship will be based on the primary disability condition identified on the student's Evaluation Team Report (ETR) and will not exceed $27,000. Students must be enrolled in the scholarship program for the entire program year to receive the full scholarship amount. Open enrollment is throughout the year.
